Mr. Basit Maqsood Abbasi is designated as the Chief Executive Officer of TUSDEC. He is heading the strategic turf and entire operations of the company altogether with a visionary approach driven by his excellent educational as well as experiential backdrop. Mr. Basit Maqsood Abbasi has a dynamic professional background in the areas of public policy and administration. He belongs to Pakistan Customs Service Group. During his illustrious career, Mr. Abbasi has been designated on various key positions in Pakistan Customs, National Accountability Bureau and Pakistan Railways. Mr. Abbasi has also worked as a consultant to the World Bank’s headquarters in Washington DC, USA. Before joining TUSDEC, he was working as a CEO of Aik Hunar Aik Nagar(AHAN).
Educated at the prestigious Columbia University, New York, USA, Mr. Abbasi acquired Masters degree in Public Policy Administration which was a specialized programme in Economic Policy Management. Mr. Abbasi did his M.Phil from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and MPA from University of Peshawar. With an extensive exposure to varied International Training Programmes, Workshops and Conferences, Mr. Abbasi has been associated with various reputable training institutions of the country in the capacity of a trainer and mentor.
