Skill Development in Solar Technology
TUSDEC – In Pakistan, over a decade long energy crisis has put extremely negative impact on the development sectors in the country. At one hand, there is a widening gap between demand and supply of energy requirements while on the other there is sharp increase in the electricity tariffs. To overcome these short falls government is encouraging the use of alternate energy sources in the country. Electricity is a modern-day necessity but power production methods that rely on fossil fuels cause harm to our environment. Solar energy helps avoid problems associated with fossil fuel and provides clean and efficient energy alternative. It also suits Pakistan’s need, in terms of cheap and environment friendly renewable energy source.
