Supporting Industrial Development through Technology Upgradation and Skill Development

Pursuing to its mandate, Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) got approved 3 Projects under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) including

1.       National Strategic Programme for Acquisition of Industrial Technology (NSPAIT) including Feasibility Study

Project Cost: Rs. 2.914 Billion

Geographical Location: Across Pakistan

 

2.       Industrial Designing and Automation Centres (IDAC)

Project Cost: Rs.972.97 Million

Geographical Location: Lahore, Karachi, Sialkot

 

3.       Footwear Cluster Development through CAD/CAM

Project Cost: Rs.78.69 Million

Geographical Location: Lahore, Punjab

 

These strategic initiatives will open up new horizons to support manufacturing sector of Pakistan through performing 14,771 Industrial jobs (Designing, reverser engineering, advisory, consultancy etc.), 10,821 industrial samples testing and training to 16,881 engineers, professionals and students. These projects will contribute to the national economy through employment generation for 4552 individuals, import substitution of Rs. 450 Million, national exports enhanced by Rs. 8.7 Billion and an overall value addition of Rs. 4.5 Billion.
