Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) Offered Technical Trainings and Services to Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, UET, Lahore. MoU signed.
Lahore: Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) and Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, UET, have signed a MoU at UET, Lahore to extend cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Technology Up gradation & Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) was established with a mission to upgrade technology and improve skills of strategic work force of key industrial clusters of Pakistan.
By this understanding, both TUSDEC and Dept. of IME, UET agree to share respective strengths, experiences, methodologies for technology upgradation, skill development, advisory and business development services etc aimed at promoting quality, productivity, value addition and competitiveness in industrial sectors of Pakistan. At this moment, CEO TUSDEC, Mr. Alamgir Chaudhry said that such efforts in developing industry–academia linkages for sustained economic growth and technological advancement will benefit the national growth in longer run. The CEO TUSDEC also offered subsidized training courses and joint technical training facility for the students at UET. It was also agreed that the final year students of Dept. of IME, UET will have a chance to visit large scale engineering facilities of TUSDEC established across Pakistan. The CEO TUSDEC also offered UET counterparts to visit TUSDEC as step to strengthen industry academia linkage. Professor Dr. Mohammed Pervez Mughal, chairman Dept. of IME, UET, also shared his valuable thoughts at the occasion. The chairman Dept. of IME, UET have signed the MoU on behalf of UET, Lahore.
