As the international product development and design avenue has been evolved into a technological axiom, industrial sectors in Pakistan are in dire need of skilful and agile professionals to sustain the global competition. Also substantial local and foreign investment in high-tech and other manufacturing industry is possible only if provided with skilled and trained manpower. Addressing the geographical disbursement of the need, TUSDEC – Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company has established CAD/CAM training center in Peshawar following the lines of NIDA centers in four other mega cities of Pakistan.

NIDA Peshawar is successfully divulging trainings in diversified trades with emphasis on product design trainings with latest Computer Aided Designing and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software tools, Industrial automation, Product life cycle management (PLM) and Project management techniques. In the purpose of persistently elevating its training standards, NIDA- Peshawar has joined hands with numerous universities,  national and international NGOs and government departments. The trainings are imparted  utilizing excellent classrooms and state of the art computer labs for exigent practical exercises. Since its provenance NIDA – Peshawar has trained a considerable number of students and professionals instilling their share of value to the national economy.

NIDA-Peshawar was conferred with the letter of appreciation for its best performance in financial year 2010-2011 among all NIDA centers in terms of number of manpower trained & new courses launched on contemporary technologies.
