CST - Daira Din Panah

Engro Foundation and FDO – Farmers Development Organization wanted TUSDEC to replicate the Masonry training program somewhere near the main city of Kot Addu in District Muzaffargarh, thereby making it easier for the trainees to secure employment after graduation. Resultantly, Daira Din Panah, a city 10 Kms East of Kot Addu was chosen for this purpose. However, since the courses are supposed to be demand driven, TUSDEC conducted a preliminary TNA before starting the program and found that the trade of Welding was high in terms of market demand at Daira Din Panah. The TNA results were shared with the partners and after mutual consent, a 3 months training course in Welding was launched. The program is still in progress. The results can be foreseen as very promising as  the candidates have started getting employment offers during the course of training.
