National Institute of Design & Analysis – Sialkot is one of the five operational CAD/CAM centres established by TUSDEC in order to facilitate the local industries by inducing modern tools and  techniques to design, develop and market their products. NIDA Sialkot is striving to bring in a paradigm shift by supplying adept and skillful human resource to the manufacturing organizations, enabling them to excel and compete in the globally prevailing digital evolution of product development.

Since its launch on 23 April 2007, National Institute of Design and Analysis (NIDA) Sialkot is imparting trainings in modern Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing using state-of-the-art facility which includes multimedia equipped lecture halls, highly equipped computer labs. The aim is to produce ‘designers’ rather than merely ‘software operators’ and upgrade Sialkot and allied industrial sectors particularly Surgical, Leather, Sports to optimize their productivity and share to the country’s economy. Adding to its efforts NIDA- Sialkot has launched a new set of courses to teach design techniques using the latest CAD/CAM software tools. These courses will also be conducted by highly proficient trainers, using absolutely concomitant classroom facilities with additional emphasis on practical exercises to be conducted on graphics specific workstations in the computer lab.

From the day of instigation till date NIDA – Sialkot has been conducted more than 390 courses in various disciplines of CAD/CAM applications training and more than 3390 students and industry professionals and the count is aggregating gradually. Currently more than 10 students are enrolled.
