Engro Foundation, the CSR arm of Engro Corporation, is a non-profit organization committed to the growth of sustainable societies.
Impressed with TUSDEC’s work in imparting employable skills to flood affectees at their model village near Kot Addu, Engro Foundation decided to enhance their partnership with TUSDEC by signing a 5 year MOU. Under the terms of the agreement, both parties intend to cooperate in the area of skill development and vocational training, community mobilization, apprenticeships and placement opportunities as well as capacity building. They also intend to identify skill and technology gaps in targeted industrial clusters by conducting joint studies and mitigate/eliminate the identified shortcomings by holding joint seminars.
Group CEO TUSDEC, Mr. Syed Anwar Ali Pervez and Director, Engro Foundation, Mr. Jiwan Das inked the agreement at a simple but impressive ceremony held at TUSEC’s head office in Lahore. Senior management officials from both sides were also present at the occasion.
