Location: Thatta and Badin (Sindh)
Project Brief: TUSDEC and NRSP joined hands to implement National Poverty Graduation Programme (NPGP) Programme in two districts of Sindh, Thatta and Badin. The objective of NPGP (National Poverty Graduation Programme) is to enable the rural poor and especially women and youth to realize their development potential and attain a higher level of social and economic wellbeing through a proven, flexible and responsive menu of assistance to engage in viable employment and livelihood.
The Programme strategy is to predominantly target youth with BISP Poverty Score Card (PSC) between 0 to 18. This Programm is funded by The International Fund for Agricultural Development {IFAD) through Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund {PPAF). TUSDEC is implementing project for vocational and technical skills training of the eligible and selected youth and subsequently help NRSP to facilitate their employment/self-employment.
Objectives: Enable the rural poor and especially women and youth to realize their development potential and attain a higher level of social and economic well being through a proven, flexible and responsive menu of assistance.
