TUSDEC (Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company) was established by Ministry of
Industries & Production, Government of Pakistan to upgrade technology and skills of strategic
industrial clusters of Pakistan. TUSDEC is implementing a project titled “Industrial Designing &
Automation Centres (IDAC)’’ to address the automation and design related issues of Pakistan’s
Industry. Centres will be established in Lahore, Karachi and Sialkot. These interventions will help local industries on improving their manufacturing processes through industrial automation.
TUSDEC intends to procure 2 kanal land for construction of its centres in Karachi and Sialkot.
Interested parties / landowners are invited to send their sealed bids (single stage one envelope) as per the criteria / requirement mentioned in the bidding documents.

A complete set of bidding documents can be obtained through email or by hand from above mentioned
locations in Karachi and Lahore between 09:00AM to 5:00PM (Mon-Fri) on submission of a written
application to receive documents.

Sealed bids duly completed must reach as per the above mentioned time and locations. Tenders will
be opened on the same date and time in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives
who wish to attend. “Bid for Land” should be clearly written on the sealed envelope containing the bid.
Submission of any false statement/documents shall disqualify the bidder.

Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) is a section 42 company established by the Ministry of Industries and Production, Government of Pakistan to upgrade technology and skills of key industrial clusters and connect them to  global value chain. TUSDEC  is  currently executing the project.    Technical  Skills Development in Sindh and Balochistan implemented in collaboration with TVET Sector Support Programme which is funded by the European  Union and the governments of Germany and Norway.    TUSDEC   intends to invite GST registered suppliers for Supply of Toolkits to trainees of AutoCAD, CAD/CAM, Computer Operator, Customer Services and Sales Assistant, Industrial Electrician, Dies and Mould Maker, Welder, Domestic AC Mechanic, Office Assistant at its centres located in Karachi, Hyderabad, Lesbela and Quetta.

Eligibility  criteria  and  the  detailed     instructions  to  bidders’  are  available  in  the  bidding  document  which  can  be

obtained via email by writing a formal request at procurement.tvetssp@tusdec.org.pk

The bidders should fulfill the following conditions;

  1. Company Profile
  2. Provide their NTN and Sales Tax registration  certificates
  3. Provide an undertaking that it has not been blacklisted by any Government Organization(s) nor they are in litigation process with any Govt./Semi Govt. organization
  4. Bidder must have past experience for supply of Toolkits
  5. Rates quoted must include all applicable taxes
  6. Bid should be valid for a minimum period of 60 days after bid opening

TUSDEC will not be responsible for any cost or expense incurred by bidders in connection with preparation or delivery of bids. Sealed bids (single stage one envelope including technical and financial proposals) along with 2% Bid Security in the form of Bank Draft / Pay Order payable to “Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company” duly completed must reach at below mentioned address on or by September  02, 2021 upto 1500 Hrs (Pakistan Standard Time). Tenders  will be opened on the same date at 1530 Hrs  in the presence  of bidders or their authorized representative who wish to attend at SkillTech International Karachi.

Quality inspection is one of the most demanding skills in the field of process industry like, Mechanical manufacturing, Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, aviation as well as power industries. The course has been designed to cover all the aspects of quality inspection from incoming raw materials to the products that are ready to be shipped by ensuring that manufactured products meet the specified quality standards set by the organization before being sent to customers. This course will enable the candidate to perform his duties as quality inspector from the initiation of the job till completion.

Welding inspection is one of the most demanding skills in the field of process industry like oil & Gas, petrochemicals, aviation as well as power industries. The course has been devised to cover all the aspects of the welding processes and inspection. During this course our main focus will be on the duties of the welding inspector from the initiation of the job till the completion. This course will provide a solid base for preparation of international welding certifications like CWI and CSWIP. Also this course will provide forum of discussion to the participants for their own problems.
