TUSDEC and Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment joined hands in facilitating manpower trained under TUSDEC implemented projects.
The Director General of Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment, along with the delegation of Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs), visited TUSDEC on 28/08/2015. The meeting with BOE and OEPs was as a result of TUSDEC`s initiative to find more avenues of placement for its trained pass outs as TUSDEC is vigorously pursuing its policy of facilitating placement of manpower trained under it projects. The Head Projects & Operations, explained about the operations of TUSDEC and its initiatives with reference to training local manpower of Pakistan. In the meeting, TUSDEC and BOE decided to sign a MoU to strengthen coordination especially in placement services for the skilled labour. Both agreed to establish a formal relationship between TUSDEC and BOE&OE to jointly coordinate to carry out special sessions with the Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs). Further, it was decided to enhance the employment opportunities of trained manpower selected from TUSDEC projects. As recommended by OEPs, It was also agreed that a strong link between Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs) and TUSDEC has to be developed through effective coordination and frequent exchange of lists of pass outs. The DG BOE and the delegation of OEPs were given a tour of TUSDEC training facility at the end of the meeting.
