TUSDEC established SkillTech International Karachi as its constituent unit in 2009 through funding from PIDC. The centre aims at equipping the youth with international level technical skills to enable them compete in international and local job markets. The centre provides various short technical courses in specified engineering fields and also provides management trainings to students & industry professionals. Skilltech has a clientele of more than 40 satisfied companies including Defence institutions of Pakistan, Refineries, Steel manufacturer, Cement manufacturer, Automobile, FMCG etc.
The centre also prepares students for various International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) exams of City & Guilds UK in Pakistan and has also collaborated with BBSYDP, NAVTTC and PSDF to impart technical training courses for the beneficiaries. SkillTech has trained over 2000 young men and women in various trades and 264 students in IVQ since its inception. Our courses are certified by the Trade Testing Board (Sindh) as well as by City & Guilds (UK) whose certification is recognized by Asia, Middle east and other countries.
All our programmes are delivered by industry experts with the objective to provide best training and facilitation for employment.
