With the assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) established Hyderabad Engineering Support Center. The centre was inaugurated in Hyderabad on April 28, 2017 by the Federal Minister for Industries and Production. The centre has an area of 2 kanal located at Sindh Small Industrial Extension (SSIE) Tando Muhammad Khan Road. HESC was merged into TUSDEC in June 2021. The project cost was 276.105 million.
HESC is a combined Common Facility and Skill Development Centre, located at Hyderabad for the vibrant industrial clusters in and around Hyderabad, Kotri, Jamshoro, and Tando Muhammad Khan. HESC is capable of manufacturing and machining prototype to development of Tools, Dies and Moulds for Plastic /Rubber Parts, Jigs & Fixtures and Heat treatment etc. With modern CAD\CAM software packages like Pro Engineer & NX, CNC machines and trained manpower, HESC can provide services to the local industry including but not limited to agricultural machinery manufacturers, automobile, plastic & metal industries and other engineering industries.
The objective is to provide the Hyderabad and neighboring industry the access to modern machines available today. In addition, Die & Mould design & technical assistance is also available while training on modern technologies/machines is also provided. Hence, HESC is acting as Common Facility and Skill Development Centre for local industry.
